Do you wear a lot of hats? (…mostly proverbial ones of course…’cause you wouldn’t want to mess up that great new ‘do I just gave you!)
I do. These are some of the hats I love:
Magical Hairdresser, Wife, Mom, Sister, Auntie, Friend, Teacher, Co-Creator, Critter Lover, Nurturer, Coach, Culinary Wizard…
The one I love the most is the hat I never take off; it came with me when I was born. It accentuates the positive in every thing I do.
It’s my JOY of Brilliance Hat! Get it? It’s my J.O.B. (Can’t wait to hear about your J.O.B.!)
That’s why doing hair is a perfect J.O.B. for me. It’s all about assisting in the outer reflection of one’s inner beauty. The fact that I get to let my creativity flow and help others shine in their brilliance…from the inside out…is one of the greatest blessings ever.
In case you’re wondering just how many years I’ve been doing this hair thing and if I’m really qualified, here’s some info:
- I’ve been a hairdresser for 22 years
- My husband Mark and I co-founded Moda/Modacapelli in Appleton (1989-2003)
- I was the original Fox 11 Monday Morning Makeover Gal for 7 years.
So where have I been?
I was expanding my JOY of Brilliance, of course!
- Traveling the world,
- Adopting a teenage daughter from Kazakhstan,
- Home schooling our son Destin (14 1/2 already!) & daughter Alea (now 20 & on her own),
- Living on the Garden Island of Kauai for 4 years, and then Colorado for 2 years, (now back in WI, enjoying family & dear friends, living in Hortonville where Mark grew up!),
- Creating inspirational blogs and podcasts for Earth~Harmony~Home & In Horse Harmony,
- Co-leading women’s enlightened conversation circles,
- Educating people on the amazing health benefits of IonWays Alkaline Ionized Water,
- Embarking on Mark’s and my latest entrepreneurial adventure~Mandala Life Media Business & Social Media Consulting/Coaching,
- Intuitively guiding others with J.O.B. Coaching… unique and fun life coaching conversations (hint* mini versions included w/each hair service if one chooses!)
I’m so happy to be back; life is just one blessing after another! (Thanks Tracey & Grassroots!)
