WHAT IS REIKI?

When applied physically through a reputable REIKI Practitioner, it will balance the mind, body, & spirit.  It will help to rebuild muscles, nerves, bone structures, and regenerative organs of the body. All that is required is a receptive attitude from the client.  With willingness to be open to healing; an emotional , spiritual, physical, and mental cleansing occurs.

Reiki is not intended to replace medical knowledge, but to accompany and support  it.

A  REINFORCING EFFECT

REIKI is used to treat the whole body to achieve relaxation.  It facilitates the removal of  blockages in energy flow and the dispersal of toxins.  REIKI will restore the general condition of the body.  The energy channels are opened to allow the body to deal properly and naturally with both stress and build-up of toxins.  It will help you to cope with anxiety and depression. REIKI is also useful when you are recovering from an illness.  Reiki will provide theadditional energy required to recover.

REDUCTION OF SIDE EFFECTS

REIKI helps the body in the recovery after drug therapy, after surgery and after chemo-therapy.  In all these cases, REIKI therapy supplies the body with extra life energy, enabling the body to bounce back more quickly from the burdens of surgery and chemicals.

In some cases, use of REIKI therapy after an operation will lessen pain.  It will accelerate the natural healing processes.  The key to success is that the therapy be undertaken on a regular basis.

WHAT WILL I EXPERIENCE IN A SESSION?

The treatment is done on a massage table.  The practitioner’s hands are placed gently on the client.  The client remains fully clothed except for shoes.  There is no pressure on the body.  Soft music is usually played during the treatment.  The REIKI energy first enters the practitioners body and out the hands, then to the client.  The practitioner finishes the REIKI session feeling as invigorated as the client.  An average REIKI treatments lasts one hour.

To own a pair of these beautiful feet you need to pamper them by moisturizing and massaging regularly.  Dry rough nails, fungal infection, cracked heels, swollen feet, corns and calluses are all the result of neglect.  We sometimes thoughtlessly put our feet in sandals or shoes that pinch and hurt.

“To Restore Your Sole” you need to exfoliate dead skin cells that have accumulated on your feet.  First, soak your feet for 5-10 minutes.  Then, dry them and lotion areas that are dry.  By moisturizing before using a foot file you’re adding moisture back into dry areas.  Now, take a foot file or loofah and remove any soft dead skin cells.  Rinse your feet and towel dry making sure to thoroughly dry between toes.  Apply moisturizer or lotion all over your feet and massage.  Before going to bed put a pair of clean, dry socks on.  Repeating this process twice a week should produce noticeable results.  Follow up with a regular pedicure every 4-6 weeks to keep your feet healthy and beautiful.

Tracey Drews-Class in Session

Tracey and Shelly took a Monday off of work to attend a full-day hands-on education class.  There they learned different techniques in using various brushes and curling irons to provide their clients with new styling techniques that will enhance their haircuts and provide them with alternative styling options.

During the afternoon they learned the latest techniques in formal styling.  Including the latest trends of the Faux Bob, Simple Ponytail and Double Chignon.

Shelly Hunt-Class in Session

Formal hair is being worn in soft subtle styles that will remain timeless.  In doing these styles, were also taught different ways to cocktail Pureology Products to give superior results.  This class was packed full of useful information and inspiration to provide Tracey and Shelly the secrets to providing their clients with SuperModel Hair.

May 2 was the big day, Appleton Prom.  The trends for this season were feminine, soft, natural looking styles.  Low ponytails seemed to be the most popular.  Scott and Dawn were busy with a day filled with young women getting their  hair done for the evening event.  Next time you need your hair done for a special event, give Scott or Dawn a call.
