Just an update to let you know in 5 days Tracey Drews, Dawn Vosters, and Eric will be on their way to New York City. There they will be attending a 3 day hands on Haircutting Class at the Redken Exchange during their five day stay. Tracey and Shelly took a Monday off of work to attend a full-day hands-on education class. There they learned different techniques in using various brushes and curling irons to provide their clients with new styling techniques that will enhance their haircuts and provide them with alternative styling options.

During the afternoon they learned the latest techniques in formal styling. Including the latest trends of the Faux Bob, Simple Ponytail and Double Chignon.

Formal hair is being worn in soft subtle styles that will remain timeless. In doing these styles, were also taught different ways to cocktail Pureology Products to give superior results. This class was packed full of useful information and inspiration to provide Tracey and Shelly the secrets to providing their clients with SuperModel Hair.

Dawn and Tracey are headed to the big city of New York to the Redken Exhange for a three-day extensive haircutting class to challenge their talents, expand their vision, and to bring back to you the latest techniques in the hair industry.

Learning the Latest Hair Cuts and Colors

Recently the stylists at Grassroots devoted their time on Sunday to learn new long hair hair cutting and coloring techniques. The class was led by Jessica DeLeon, a hairdresser who has been working in the industry for 13 years, the last 10 years working in New York City. She has worked back stage with Cynthia Rowley, 33 Degrees and for Lane Bryant fashion shows during Fashion Week. Styled hair for photo shoots for Cosmo, Cookie and Prevention Magazine.

We enjoyed this experience with Jessica and are excited and inspired by learning the new techniques to service your hair needs.
