This was in a email from one of Tracey Drews clients, Mary Schmidt. “I was in a gig at the Fox Valley Symphony Hollywood Pops concert at the PAC Feb6. The Symphony played music of the movies including Harry Potter and Star Wars. As a special treat, Star Wars re-enactors came in their costumes—you should note that Tracey Drews did NOT do Chewie’s hair!
I sang in a medley of movie songs arranged by Maury Laws, including favorites like “42ndStreet,” “That’s Entertainment,” and “Somewhere my Love” I was joined by my friend John Stangel—we are both members of the White Heron Chorale and have been singing for years. I could handle the singing—I was most worried about my hair until Tracey helped out! Not bad, make an old broad look “glam.””
