The Sandra Began Holiday Preview and Fundraising Shopping Event will run from 4 to 9 p.m. Oct. 16 and from 9 to noon Oct. 17.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door, and can be purchased at Sandra Began, from Appleton resident Sandra Began, Grassroots A Salon in Appleton and The Wreath Factory of Menasha. The Miracle League, an organized baseball league, is raising funds to construct a specialized baseball field at Memorial Park in Appleton for children ages 4-19 with physical and/or mental disabilities. Began’s sister, Lisa Robbins, is the director of the league and Began’s nephew, Michael, will play in the league in the spring.
