    Downtown Appleton’s Children’s Parade

A few of Grassroots’ Stylists; Shelly Hunt, Deann Kelley and Tracey Drews, along with their children,  participated  in the Children’s Parade held in Downtown Appleton on July, 29th.  Shelly Hunt’s husband Dean Hunt was the parade’s founder and committee chairman for this wonderful event.  Dean states “I can still remember the summers as a child when my neighborhood friends and I would prepare to build our next float” he goes on to say, “The parade was the highlight of my summer!  I want my children to have the same experience.”

This successful event had over 1100 participates.  You could  feel the strong sense of community and the love and appreciation it holds for the creativity of our children of tomorrow…
